Hey there – I’m Charley!

I am a London-based traveller trying to see as much of the world as I possibly can.

I am here to destroy the myth that travelling has to be expensive and want to help you maximise your travel experiences, whilst minimising your expenses!

I have been travelling for the last few years on a tiny budget and it always shocks people that I have done so much with so little. I am here to show you how you can do the same!

I studied languages at university and after a year of studying abroad in Spain, all I wanted to do was graduate so I could see more of the world.

At this point, I did not have the luxury of working online and I was faced with the dreaded dilemma – if I don’t work, I won’t have the money to travel, but if I do work, I won’t have the time.

I fell into a temporary Christmas job and quickly realised that the money I saved working 4 months of the year was enough to sustain me travelling for the remaining 8 months.

With the rising cost of living, I found it was actually cheaper for me to travel than to remain in London, so I (over)packed my backpack, and off I went.

Over the past few years, I have travelled across Europe, Central, and South America and recently just got home from a trip to India and South-East Asia.
