Where is Siquijor located?
Famed as a mystical island, Siquijor is located in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.
This small island could be seen as Boholโs little brother, sitting southeast of Cebu and Negros Oriental.
Siquijor does not attract as many tourists as its neighbor Bohol, making it the perfect destination to get off the beaten path.

How to get to Siquijor
There is no airport on Siquijor Island, so you will have to take a ferry for the last leg of the journey wherever you’re coming from.
If you choose to fly, I would suggest flying to either Dumaguete, Bohol, or Cebu. From these destinations, you can then take a ferry across.

How to get around Siquijor
The best way of getting around Siquijor is with a scooter.
This is the main mode of transport for everyone and the roads are very well-maintained.
Generally, you can reach most of the main Siquijor tourist spots by following the Siquijor Circumferential Road around the island.
We hired our bike forย 350 PHP ($6)ย a day from Stellaโz Guesthouse for 5 days.
If youโre not so keen on hiring a scooter, then you will find many tricycles located in San Juan.
